Returns

All returns and exchanges must be pre-authorized. We retain the right to refuse any unauthorized returns.

Gift cards are non-refundable.

Returned items must be in the same condition in which they were purchased: unworn, unwashed, with receipt, dust bags, boxes, and tags ATTACHED.

We reserve the right to deny credits if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements.

All purchases of Jewelry, Socks, Hosiery, Sunglasses, Apothecary, Fragrance, Swimwear, Hats, Hair Accessories, Candles, Intimates, Masks and Sale items are FINAL SALE.

Retail store purchases may be returned for store credit or exchange within 14 days of purchase. We do NOT offer refunds for retail store purchases.

We would love to assist you in exchanging your order for a different size or style, but we cannot promise to “hold” items until your return is received as our online inventory is pulled from brick + mortar inventory and is subject to availability.

To ensure you get the style you’re after, please process your return as a refund and place a new order for the new item. You will receive a refund or store credit when we receive the original purchase.

1. Log in to your Zane account with the email address used to place your order. Go to your orders tab at the top of the page.

2. Select the item(s) you'd like to return and select the reason for returning.

3. Our team will review your return request and authorize the return if eligible. If authorized, you will receive a pre-paid shipping label. Please note that return shipping costs (flat rate of $12) are the responsibility of the customer and will be deducted from your refund.

4. Carefully pack your returned items (keep in mind that they will likely go home with another shopper!) and mail at your earliest convenience. Or if you're local, come by the store and drop off your return.

5. Once your return is received and reviewed by our team, we will process your refund/store credit. Please allow one to two weeks for refunds to be processed back to your original payment method.

Please note: Returned items received that are outside of the return window, final sale, unauthorized, or that do not meet criteria for return will NOT be refunded or returned to the customer.

Shipping

All standard orders are shipped via UPS Ground or USPS. We offer free standard shipping on all US domestic orders of $200 or more. For orders under $200, we charge a flat rate of $12.

For expedited shipping, please choose the UPS 2-Day Air option at checkout. Rates are calculated by actual shipping cost, according to the carrier.

Free store pickup is available during regular business hours at our Portland, Maine location.

Orders are all processed and shipped within 2 business days and should arrive within 5-7 business days. Please note that during busy sales periods and winter months, shipping times may be delayed.

Shipments to addresses within the state of Maine are subject to Maine sales tax (5.5%).

We cannot ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or internationally at this time.

Zane is not responsible for packages once they have been delivered by the carrier. If your package should fail to make it to you, we will do everything we can to track it down but claims should be made with the carrier. Please let us know when placing an order if you would like us to require a signature for delivery.

All shipping costs for returns and exchanges are the responsibility of the customer. Standard Return shipping cost of $12 will be deducted from the refund amount upon return.

For Phone Orders + In-Store Purchases, we offer free standard shipping for purchases over $200. For phone orders and in-store purchases under that total, the standard flat rate of $12 will be charged.
